arlene farenci

Arlene Farenci earned her degree in Fine Art at Hunter College. Upon graduation, she chose a more practical career in graphic design, but never strayed too far from the world of fine art. Since 2008, she has taken classes in printmaking at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and Manhattan Graphics Center. Of all the techniques she learned, monotyping was a natural fit for her, because of her direct and gestural style of painting. Arlene continues to do her printing at the Manhattan Graphics Center. A native New Yorker, Arlene presently lives in Glen Ridge, NJ with her husband Rich and son Louis.
